In an interview,  Guo Zhenming, the current Chinese Basketball Association President, commented on Yao Ming, his predecessor: “I joined the Association at the beginning of 2022, and it has been my honor to work alongside Yao Ming. Over the past three years, I have learned a great deal from him—his professionalism, his vision for commercialization and market-oriented development, as well as the most advanced concepts in international basketball development.”
